# Nov 8th 2009, 18:47 markstory I don't think there were ever any hard and fast rules.
# Nov 8th 2009, 18:21 Predominant What are the rules for article acceptance on the bakery?
# Nov 6th 2009, 14:13 Phally hehe i guess it would
# Nov 6th 2009, 14:12 poLK it is not _that_ confidential. Feature list and code itself will make more happy faces, then just this pure info.
# Nov 6th 2009, 14:11 Phally poLK: hehe good job ;) for confidential information, please pm, that saves some time :p
# Nov 6th 2009, 14:10 poLK I mean: hmm, what? logs?
# Nov 6th 2009, 14:10 poLK hm, what logs?

# Nov 6th 2009, 14:07 Phally markstory: there is no communication there at all, is there?
# Nov 6th 2009, 14:07 markstory other than a time masheen of course :)
# Nov 6th 2009, 14:07 markstory Phally: is there anything you need from me to keep going?
# Nov 6th 2009, 14:01 Phally oh and password recovery etc
# Nov 6th 2009, 14:01 Phally it needs the registration process though, but i figured messaging first, so the messaging component can be used with registration
# Nov 6th 2009, 14:00 markstory that's a good start then :)
# Nov 6th 2009, 14:00 markstory nice.
# Nov 6th 2009, 14:00 Phally about the bakery, i don't really know, i can tell you about the users plugin though... it has permission handling implemented as described in the spec, also has messaging... it has an auth helper and a messaging component where e-mail notifications can be built in... i know of a little bug with the naming of the config file and requestAction and perhaps the encoded cookie could be optimized... all have test cases and thats all there
# Nov 6th 2009, 13:56 markstory But was wondering where it reached kind of.
# Nov 6th 2009, 13:56 markstory just wanted to know where things were with the bakery code. I know its been dormant for a while.

# Oct 9th 2009, 16:23 emc hi, i've baked a new model/controller but now it always says "This field cannot be left blank" although it isn't blank. My validation looks like: http://pastebin.com/d41dcad72 ... and it came straight out of the bakery. any idea what could be wrong?
# Oct 8th 2009, 03:38 Predominant Ahh
# Oct 8th 2009, 03:30 alkemann someone was unable to post a ticket on code. I was wondering if there was a right issue, but off course it was the guys own fault..
# Oct 8th 2009, 03:29 Predominant alkemann: sup?

# Sep 29th 2009, 07:33 alkemann how should we organize a todolist for this project? shall we use tickets, a wiki page or what?
# Sep 28th 2009, 19:02 BTC Is there anyway to find what my username is?
# Sep 28th 2009, 18:56 BTC Indeed. There's a "forgot password" link, but no "forgot username" link...
# Sep 28th 2009, 18:51 Predominant Heh
# Sep 28th 2009, 18:47 BTC Good evening. I have a bit of a problem - I forgot my username...

# Sep 25th 2009, 17:56 kuja_ I guess it has some rough edges to work out
# Sep 25th 2009, 17:56 kuja_ I'm a bit weary about the Parser stuff though

# Sep 25th 2009, 13:21 gwoo we had some good fun last night
# Sep 25th 2009, 13:21 gwoo kuja: does he sound hungover?
# Sep 25th 2009, 13:21 gwoo and APC/Xcache
# Sep 25th 2009, 13:21 kuja Currently listening to Derick on Xdebug
# Sep 25th 2009, 13:20 gwoo i think we need to rely on php to help us
# Sep 25th 2009, 13:20 gwoo no it doesnt
# Sep 25th 2009, 13:20 alkemann but putting more than one class in one file doesnt reward enough to outweigh the .. obuscating?
# Sep 25th 2009, 13:20 gwoo which is the fastest PHP5 fram
# Sep 25th 2009, 13:20 gwoo i did some benchmarking against solar
# Sep 25th 2009, 13:19 gwoo and APC
# Sep 25th 2009, 13:19 kuja Or at least lazy loading to an extent should increase performance in that area.
# Sep 25th 2009, 13:19 gwoo yup-
# Sep 25th 2009, 13:19 gwoo its the file hits
# Sep 25th 2009, 13:19 kuja I think
# Sep 25th 2009, 13:18 kuja gwoo: Hopefully SPL autoloading will solve that.
# Sep 25th 2009, 13:18 alkemann at what number do you see cost of adding a class?
# Sep 25th 2009, 13:18 gwoo closures are actually fast
# Sep 25th 2009, 13:17 gwoo the slowest thing is still loading of classes
# Sep 25th 2009, 13:17 kuja i'd imagine closures would cause a sort of slow down
# Sep 25th 2009, 13:17 kuja i'm surprised it can be so fast even with so many closures.
# Sep 25th 2009, 13:16 gwoo and it's really fast
# Sep 25th 2009, 13:16 alkemann imma gonna let 1.3 and 2.0 amaze me first :)
# Sep 25th 2009, 13:16 kuja i like how everything's decoupled in a different sense from how ZF or PEAR is, and instead takes a more AOP-similar approach to interoperability.
# Sep 25th 2009, 13:15 gwoo you should check it out
# Sep 25th 2009, 13:15 gwoo ha
# Sep 25th 2009, 13:15 kuja )
# Sep 25th 2009, 13:15 kuja he wouldn't stop describing how awesome it was tho
# Sep 25th 2009, 13:15 gwoo yeah it is
# Sep 25th 2009, 13:15 kuja it's cool stuff.

# Sep 25th 2009, 11:29 gwoo yup
# Sep 25th 2009, 10:51 alkemann wun any forkmaster lately?
# Sep 25th 2009, 10:43 gwoo ok
# Sep 25th 2009, 10:41 alkemann yes well ill continue to look into these issues, but yea, if someone else wants to pick up, say the comment system, wysiwyg or something
# Sep 25th 2009, 10:39 gwoo ok
# Sep 25th 2009, 10:38 alkemann could simplify the whole app alot
# Sep 25th 2009, 10:38 alkemann hm.. im thinking maybe.. maybe the showDraft can always be active and only for the action for public view takes it off
# Sep 25th 2009, 10:37 alkemann making sure to not allow a flow where for instance a moderator edits the live data but keeps a draft existing
# Sep 25th 2009, 10:36 alkemann hm i dont think a use case can exist where the live table is newer than the draft, so revision should always look at draft instead of live if draft exist
# Sep 25th 2009, 10:35 gwoo then
