# Jun 11th 2018, 13:51 neon1024 Let’s hope that all those commonwealth nations are feeling generous when we leave the EU.
# Jun 11th 2018, 13:50 admad but then again you had one of the largest empires human kind has seen, so it's fair to take benefit of the colonies :P
# Jun 11th 2018, 13:49 admad i know
# Jun 11th 2018, 13:49 neon1024 Well we already have an Irishman in charge of the ODI team, and Roy is South African I think
# Jun 11th 2018, 13:48 neon1024 I’ve applied for tickets, so fingers crossed I get some :crossed_fingers:
# Jun 11th 2018, 13:48 neon1024 It’s true. I wonder how quick we will get knocked out of the World Cup
# Jun 11th 2018, 13:48 admad though can always snatch the good scottish players with a kolpak deal :)
# Jun 11th 2018, 13:48 admad @neon1024 sorry to say but you guys are one of the worst inventors of a game :P
# Jun 11th 2018, 13:48 josbeir Normalize => Normalise, Serialize, Serialise
# Jun 11th 2018, 13:47 itmpls but only x amount are pulled in for that view, though I want that "of" to be relative to all
# Jun 11th 2018, 13:47 itmpls is countercache the best solution for this scenario? i have special_offers with have special_offer_dates and on the UI end I want to show that a certain special offer date (in the calendar) is [x] of [y] for that special offer. like 1 of 5. was thinking a counter_cache on special_offers of the dates?
# Jun 11th 2018, 13:47 neon1024 @admad I can’t. England lost to Scotland in the ODI Cricket yesterday! :(
# Jun 11th 2018, 13:47 dereuromark FreedomBehavior maybe?
# Jun 11th 2018, 13:47 josbeir @neon1024 add regular expressions to that list
# Jun 11th 2018, 13:47 jeremyharris haha
# Jun 11th 2018, 13:47 dereuromark LOL, please dont
# Jun 11th 2018, 13:47 admad @neon1024 let's open an issue to rename "Behavior" to "Behaviour" :)
# Jun 11th 2018, 13:46 dereuromark neon: basically all code is usually by convention us english
# Jun 11th 2018, 13:46 jeremyharris it also makes asking for help easier (whether that’s a good thing or not)
# Jun 11th 2018, 13:46 neon1024 I had a had a good chat with Jorge, about coding in foreign language and he said he mostly uses US English
# Jun 11th 2018, 13:45 neon1024 Mostly because the core is US English
# Jun 11th 2018, 13:45 neon1024 I think I mostly code in “American”
# Jun 11th 2018, 13:44 jeremyharris :)
# Jun 11th 2018, 13:44 neon1024 Or my fav spin, There are 2 hard problems in computer science: cache invalidation, naming things, and off-by-1 errors.
# Jun 11th 2018, 13:44 jeremyharris and off by one errors
# Jun 11th 2018, 13:44 neon1024 There are only two hard things in Computer Science: cache invalidation and naming things. -- Phil Karlton
# Jun 11th 2018, 13:44 neon1024 What’s that saying
# Jun 11th 2018, 13:43 tiagoab Oh! Thanks a lot @admad!
# Jun 11th 2018, 13:43 neon1024 I would say fortnightly myself
# Jun 11th 2018, 13:43 jeremyharris ^ yeah I recognize that for sure
# Jun 11th 2018, 13:43 neon1024 OED says it’s American https://en.oxforddictionaries.com/definition/semi-monthly
# Jun 11th 2018, 13:43 tim I think bi-monthly is more known
# Jun 11th 2018, 13:42 neon1024 Urgh, don’t remind me :(
# Jun 11th 2018, 13:42 dereuromark British :slightly_smiling_face: And soon to be non-EU. Poor neon.
# Jun 11th 2018, 13:42 jeremyharris madrid I agree I feel that there’s some negative comments that come through at times. I think some of it has to do with the language barrier, some with the text-format. everything else should likely be brought up as we’re all adults (though I know personally I don’t like confrontation and usually ignore the negativity where I can)
# Jun 11th 2018, 13:42 josbeir what is this english we are talking about ?
# Jun 11th 2018, 13:42 neon1024 Well Anglo-American, technically
# Jun 11th 2018, 13:42 neon1024 I really am English! :P
# Jun 11th 2018, 13:42 neon1024 I’m not joking, if you meant me :slightly_smiling_face:
# Jun 11th 2018, 13:41 madrid988 i'm not sure if you are joking
