I just always seem to find myself in a rabbit hole of mocks |

I don’t know enough about mocks, or the ORM to be able to suggest what is wrong |

The main one is the coupled nature of Entity and Table, alongside Connection and Schema |

which parts? and have you filed issues so we can fix individual things? |

Fair enough. I do something similar with my calico CMS, though i do some back-asswards stuff there since applying validation rules “twice” in a sense |

I find not being able to mock the various parts of the ORM quite frustrating |

Another thing, they don't use cryptographically safe / non guess able tokens as recommended by oauth2 standard |

daniel_: I second neon, javascript is probably best for that. I can think of ways that it would be possible using only cake, but it seems harder to do it that way |

hey @admad any reason you are switching from https://github.com/ADmad/CakePHP-HybridAuth to https://github.com/ADmad/cakephp-social-auth ? |

I use javascript for that personally |

hello, someone knows what's the best practice in cakephp for doing multiple fieldsets with "add more" button? |

thanks for the input @savant. I was starting to realize that. I’d rather keep newEntity as is because it’s cleaner. But I’m using the Registry class that houses the different types of actions as a provider and do the validation there. I think that should be an extensible workaround. |

So you’ll probably want a Github account or similar |

Well you need to host your code somewhere to link on Packagist |

Hello guys, how are you? I need to develop a sdk that can be installed via composer, how do I start? Do you have a step by step on how to create the project or just point me to the right direction |

you probably could use view cells ? |

I have to use in 7 different views 7 tabs with same links, and each tab should redirect to different controller. What is the best place to save code for tabs (so that I do not have to copy paste 7 times code for each tab) |

I am using a through association (like the Students Courses example in the book) but I am struggling to save associated data - anyone have any examples I can go through? |

Never had the time to finish open sourcing my forum solution - thus no real life example in the sandbox here yet. Hopefully one day... |

so it is actually a two way thing: parsing the type and ID out of the input (text) and storing it normalized. then on display it just needs to use the right templating code :slightly_smiling_face: |
