# Feb 10th 2018, 14:03 waspinator I can't seem to get translated strings to show up. I have a `src/Locale/fr_FR/default.po` file with the `msgid` and translated `msgstr` and I call `I18n::setLocale('fr_FR');`. Right next to the element I call `debug(I18n::getLocale());` and I get `fr_FR`, but the message is still in English. I ran `bin/cake cache clear_all` but it still shows up in English. How can I debug to see if cake is actually finding the translation?
# Feb 10th 2018, 13:41 loginews @hmic I did follow the doc on github ; I guess something went wrong. I was given several options. I will have to play around with it later.
# Feb 10th 2018, 13:26 dereuromark My generic templates often contain both classes, a bit overhead but then I can use them in both flavors to some degree at least.
# Feb 10th 2018, 13:26 dereuromark you probably have to :slightly_smiling_face: Since e.g. nav elements have different classes
# Feb 10th 2018, 13:24 hmic i think you can bake templates with bootstrap-ui too...
# Feb 10th 2018, 13:23 hmic if that css is missing - it will not look anything good
# Feb 10th 2018, 13:23 hmic if not, the (already) baked templates assume you are still using foundation, not bootstrap
# Feb 10th 2018, 13:23 hmic did you adapt your templates too?
# Feb 10th 2018, 13:23 hmic loginews: did you adapt your layout to load bootstrap at all?
# Feb 10th 2018, 13:02 loginews Before I installed bootstrap-ui, my screen looked like this: http://www.awesomescreenshot.com/image/3164343/ad83995edf63b83af84bcb9f2b68216b and after installation it looks like this: http://www.awesomescreenshot.com/image/3164344/e74d2d6ea3b12f908341cae910cbb1bc Is that normal?
# Feb 10th 2018, 13:00 kitcat711 hello, how to use paginate with a search form? I tried but when asking for page=2, the request is a GET and this refresh the search form instead of displaying the results (different view render in POST). How do you fix that?
# Feb 10th 2018, 12:48 admad @jameg83 what's the output of `ls -al /usr/bin/wkhtmltopdf`

# Feb 10th 2018, 00:02 dereuromark aro: thats the idea
# Feb 9th 2018, 22:37 kevin that worked
# Feb 9th 2018, 22:37 kevin well you would be correct.
# Feb 9th 2018, 22:37 ricksaccous in the EntityClass
# Feb 9th 2018, 22:37 ricksaccous also you have to make sure it's accessible
# Feb 9th 2018, 22:36 ricksaccous league is an entity object and the "columns" are it's properties
# Feb 9th 2018, 22:36 ricksaccous I'd just use $league->primary_user_id = $this->Auth->user('id');
# Feb 9th 2018, 22:35 ricksaccous I usually don't use set for that
# Feb 9th 2018, 22:35 kevin thats the set im using.
# Feb 9th 2018, 22:34 kevin $league = $this->Leagues->patchEntity($league, $this->request->getData()); $league->set([‘primary_user_id’ => $this->Auth->user(‘id’)]);
# Feb 9th 2018, 22:34 kevin so im trying to retrieve some data from a form, but then add data to the entity. $entity->set([‘item’ => ‘value’]); worked for me before, but now im getting DB errors that the value isnt being set
# Feb 9th 2018, 21:46 kevin ok well I changed everything back to UTC and now it works, so now theres a compelling reason to keep it on UTC lol
