yes I think I wrote it not clearly. I know that I JUST am able to import models. That would mean that I need to put the data preparation into the models. But the cutoms file for computations sounds nice. But what area of the filesystem should I use there? I read that loading components in shell files is bad practice, but I never thought about creating my own library |

Hello guys, I just wanted to ask something about the basic cake architecture. I wanted to set up some cron jobs and send a templated email with it, which receives dynamically data from my db and sends it. But the problem now is that my business logic and data preparation is in my controllers, what I think was a mistake. So could anybody of you tell me where I have to put my data preparation methods? i have used latest bake with custom ctp templates and it works fine |
