birdy247: like i said. i very much like the NUCs. if you want more like a proper enterprise machine, the Lenovo ThinkStations are my choice in the office. but they are way to heavy for just developing webapps ;-) (mine got 64gb of ram and i run some 10 VMs with external storage connected though 10GBe connections at a time often times for testing server environments) |

do you need pure calculation performance? if not i am all up for the Intel NUC series, very small and relatively cheap while blazingly fast (for having nvme ssds and ddr4 ram), just not the highest pure calculation performance due to the use of mobile processors |
