# Oct 16th, 07:54 spriz but take care of MySQL performance issues :)
# Oct 16th, 07:54 spriz @scuadra you can do `->where(['Comments.priority LIKE' => '1_'])`
# Oct 16th, 07:52 scuadra Hello. How can I use LIKE as a condition on an integer column? I am using Cake 3.x and MySQL 5.7.

# Oct 16th, 06:37 conehead Morning!
# Oct 16th, 05:59 alexdd55976 Morning
# Oct 16th, 02:44 admad @luizcmarin https://github.com/FriendsOfCake/awesome-cakephp/wiki/4.x-upgraded-ones
# Oct 15th, 21:46 challgren https://github.com/FriendsOfCake/cakephp-upload/tree/cake-4.x would be a place to check
# Oct 15th, 21:45 luizcmarin Please ask a question: will this plugin work in cake4 version or will there be other modes already included in 4? https://cakephp-upload.readthedocs.io/en/latest/index.html
# Oct 15th, 20:04 daniel.upshaw Hah!!! Arg, sorry.... So it looks like you can use `$this->form` or `$this->Form`, but if it's not uppercase, it won't add it to the token
# Oct 15th, 19:48 daniel.upshaw Actually it would seem that it happens in the form itself... So I would think that using `echo $this->form->control('field_name', ['options' => [1, 2, 3]]);` would do it..... but it does not
# Oct 15th, 19:44 daniel.upshaw I'm trying to figure out where specifically I need to add the field to unlock it in the form automatically
# Oct 15th, 19:43 daniel.upshaw If I add a new field to a model, should that automatically unlock it in the form?
# Oct 15th, 18:04 ndm @mrfeedback Depends on what exactly the object looks like, what data it holds, and what exactly you need to test. For entities you could in most situations simply compare against their array representation.
# Oct 15th, 17:55 ricksaccous @ndm thank you i will look into this stuff, awesome
# Oct 15th, 17:54 ndm @ricksaccous PHP sucks at serving large files, as it has to keep the process running while the file is being downloaded. If the file is on the same server, then you might be able to use the `X-Sendfile`, `X-LiteSpeed`, or `X-Accel-Redirect` header if your server supports it. If you use AWS, look into redirecting people to it (check for example presigned URLs if the objects are private).
# Oct 15th, 17:43 mrfeedback when I want to write a test where I want to compare the result of the database with an expected result, how am I supposed to mock the object? im wondering how I can create a fake comparision object with the expected data structure
# Oct 15th, 17:38 ricksaccous I'm thinking these files might be stored on AWS
# Oct 15th, 17:37 ricksaccous is this a server problem to solve or a PHP problem
# Oct 15th, 17:37 ricksaccous has anyone offered downloads to larger files on their web application i'm talking about potentially ~2gb
# Oct 15th, 17:03 challgren You could also use CloudFlare Access. https://challgren.energyauditapp.com is an example
# Oct 15th, 17:02 dev.cyrusjayson we dont have login on our website. we want to put basic login then open it
# Oct 15th, 17:02 challgren https://book.cakephp.org/3.0/en/tutorials-and-examples/cms/authentication.html would be a good start for you.
# Oct 15th, 17:00 challgren What exactly are you trying to protect?
# Oct 15th, 17:00 dev.cyrusjayson what is the correct way of implementing it via cake?
# Oct 15th, 16:59 dev.cyrusjayson I tried to do that in www folder didnt work
# Oct 15th, 16:59 challgren cpanel likes to mung files
# Oct 15th, 16:59 dev.cyrusjayson ah
# Oct 15th, 16:58 challgren You’re going to run into conflicts with cake’s .htaccess and cpanels .htaccess
# Oct 15th, 16:58 dev.cyrusjayson okay I will check the link
# Oct 15th, 16:58 dev.cyrusjayson so prefer to do it
# Oct 15th, 16:58 dev.cyrusjayson yeah but we don't have time for development
# Oct 15th, 16:58 challgren https://www.a2hosting.com/kb/cpanel/cpanel-security-features/password-protect-directories
# Oct 15th, 16:57 challgren Honestly you’d be better implementing it via CakePHP
# Oct 15th, 16:57 dev.cyrusjayson one more question, with cpanel/whm how can I put username and password protection in the directory?
# Oct 15th, 16:55 dev.cyrusjayson thanks mate :: @challgren :man_dancing:
# Oct 15th, 16:55 dev.cyrusjayson hey it works!!!!
